We supply Building, Mechanical, Electrical and Maintenance services to Chemical, Steel Production and Nuclear Power Plants. The versatility of our company allows us to work within these diverse industries. The aim of Gus Robinson Developments is to provide a high quality hassle free service to each and every one of our valued customers. We have several ongoing open book partnerships, providing clients with all the information they require to aid them with cash flow, budget control and future planning.
One of our recent projects was to build a simulator training facility for Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station. Until recently Hartlepool was the only station in British Energy’s fleet without its own dedicated simulator facility. Hartlepool operators had to travel to Heysham on the west coast to receive training on their simulator.
Gus Robinson Developments were awarded the contract to build an exact replica of the Hartlepool plants control room. This project was especially challenging as the control room development resulted in extensive sourcing and manufacturing of equipment and fixtures that matched the original in every detail. Despite these difficulties we were able to deliver another quality project on time and within budget.
Safety is constantly developing and we ensure that all employees are aware of current health and safety best practices. In 2010 GRD were the proud recipients of our second ROSPA Gold Medal following 6 consecutive Gold Awards.
