Congratulations to Jeanette Henderson, our Company Accountant and Business Development Director for achieving the prestigious Charted Institute of Marketing (CIM), Durham Tees Valley “Top Student of the Year 2011” award.
The Company appointed Jeanette to the role of Business Development Director last year, and Gus Robinson is delighted that Jeanette has been able to carry her dedication to accountancy over to her new role.
Gus stated “Jeanette embarked on the CIM Diploma course with my encouragement and to enhance her marketing knowledge for the new Business Development Director role she is undertaking.”
“As I am personally a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, hold a Post Graduate CIM Diploma and am also a fully qualified Chartered Marketer, I recognised the benefits available to Jeanette and the Company from studying on the course.”
Jeanette, who has been with the company for 29 years, stated “I have held many roles during time at the Company and it seemed a natural progression that I should be involved in the marketing and business development side of things as I probably do know virtually everything about the company, both past and present.”
“After so many years with the company it is great to be embarking on this new path. I am lucky in that the company encourages continual development of all its employees so I received support and encouragement throughout my studies.”
